Adult Swimming Lessons
Adult Swim Lesson Information:
Adult 1: This level is designed to help those who are inexperienced with the water to gain confidence, learn safe practices, and start building the foundation for swimming. We also work toward building an appreciation of, and respect for, the aquatic environment. Adding survival practices and the basics of several different swim strokes. The primary goal is the attainment of water competency to avoid or overcome challenges in the water.
Adult 2: Participants build on skills learned in Adult 1, adding survival practices and the basics of several different swim strokes. The primary goal is the attainment of water competency to avoid or overcome challenges in the water. Participants in this level grow their endurance and knowledge of swim strokes and work towards personal goals that may include building pace, stamina, or stroke proficiency. This level is geared toward advanced swimmers and aims to promote swimming as a lifelong activity.
*PARTICIPANTS MUST BE 14+ YEARS OF AGE TO PARTICIPATE*

Participation in swim lessons DOES NOT include access to CHRC pools or facility outside lesson times. Please refrain from using the pool for Open Plunge or Lap Swimming purposes during lesson times. For Open Plunge and Lap Swimming schedules visit our Aquatics page.
Group lesson classes require a 3 participant minimum to be held. In the event a class has not met the minimum participation amount classes may be rescheduled to another time, merged with other classes, or cancelled.
CHRC does not offer adjustments to class fees for missed classes or late registration
