Splash Pad Hours 2026
Due to the drought conditions this year, the Cottonwood Heights City Council made the decision to adjust the splash pad schedule in an effort to conserve water.
The Mountview Splash Pad operating hours are as follows:
• Saturdays and Sundays: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• July 4th: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• July 24th: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Labor Day: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
All hours are weather permitting.

Pavilion Reservation Information
All reservations must be made 48 hours in advance.
Pavilion must be reserved in person at CHRC & patrons must be a resident of Cottonwood Heights City to reserve this park pavilion from Jan 2 - March 31. Please check residency before making reservation.
On April 1st reservations will be open to all and may be done online or in person. per city of Cottonwood Heights.
Pavillions availible to rent from: April 15 - October 15.
- After October 15th and prior to April 15th
- bathrooms may or may not be available
- garbage cans may or may not be completely emptied, etc.
Pricing
Monday - Friday:
- 8am - 2pm: $70
- 4pm - 10pm: $70
- Full Day: $100
Saturdays & Sundays:
- 8am - 10pm ONLY $100
Glitter, confetti, glitter bombs, water balloons and similar materials are prohibited in park areas. Use of these items may result in additional cleaning fees or fines.
Bounce Houses, Slip and Slides, Ice Blocking, Dunk Tanks and other Blow up rides are NOT allowed in this park due to liability related issues.
**Pavilion rental DOES NOT include use of athletic fields or immediate green space**
Per city policy Food Trucks are allowed as long as they only serve YOUR party and there is an extra $50 charge to have it.

Mountview Park has a pavilion for 110 people, electricity, 2 playgrounds, a splash pad, 2 tennis courts, a basketball court, 2 charcoal grills, 2 soccer fields, restrooms, and a walking path. This park must be reserved in person at CHRC & proof of Cottonwood Heights residency must be provided in order to make the reservation before April 1st. After April 1st, reservations are open to everyone and can be made online or in-person.
